Coastal Jazz & Blues Society was established in 1985 to connect, transform, inspire, and nurture artists and audiences through the joy, passion and power of jazz.
Today, the Society ranks as BC’s largest not-for-profit music presenter producing the annual TD Vancouver International Jazz Festival, Bright Moments series, and year-round concerts, and local, national, and international artists five nights a week at Frankie’s Jazz Club. Along with music presentation, the society also has a long-standing commitment to music education, presenting the TD High School Jazz Intensive Program exclusively for high school students, the Sounds of Youth performance stage, regular workshops by local visiting international artists, adult jazz eduction programs, children’s music activities, and more.
