It was a very interesting and an excellent trip. The weather was perfect with only a trace of rain and that mainly overnight. The scenery beautiful with magnificent forested areas and the rice crops golden and ready for harvesting. Our guides were really well informed and did everything possible to ensure our comfort and to make visits to places of interest really worthwhile. They also prepared us well for the final hike up to the Tiger's nest by having two earlier hikes that gave everyone the confidence that they could probably do it and they did. John and Theresa Bishop were delightful hosts, relaxed, friendly and with a good sense of humour. Our drivers were superb and coped with the twisting and rough roads with skill and a calm demeanour.
