Jerry Wasserman

Actor, Professor, New Yorker

VANCOUVER, BC - Native New Yorker Jerry Wasserman is an actor, critic, theatre historian, and Professor of English & Theatre at UBC, where he has taught since 1972.

Jerry has performed on most of Vancouver's stages, most recently at the Arts Club in The Graduate, and has been seen in more than 200 movies and TV episodes.

He has reviewed theatre for 25 years for CBC radio, The Province newspaper, and his own website, www.vancouverplays.com

He is editor of the standard textbook in Canadian drama courses, Modern Canadian Plays, and is currently Head of UBC's Department of Theatre and Film.
