Mission Statement
Sole Food transforms vacant urban land into street farms that grow artisan quality fruits and vegetables, available at farmer’s markets, local restaurants, and retail outlets. Sole Food’s mission is to empower individuals with limited resources by providing jobs, agricultural training and inclusion in a supportive community of farmers and food lovers.
We thought the trip was wonderful. As you know, it was the first time we have ever taken a tour. The was certainly a lovely way to start. The group was a delightful blend of personalities that mixed very well and we enjoyed everyone. What a beautiful country! It was also like being dropped off in another time and world - except for all the monks with cell phones at their sides while they chanted...We would definitely recommend this trip to anyone.
