I Was Born There: Torngat Mountains National Park - Syllabics
I Was Born There powerfully illustrates the experience of visiting the park and explores the cultural significance of this special place. Completely unscripted but beautifully expressive, the film features the stories and experiences of real visitors to the park and is grounded in the voices of Inuit who have lived in, and traveled on, the lands of the park for generations.  Parks Canada – Dec 2016

The Last Lion of the Liuwa Plain | Free Documentary Nature
The Last Lion of the Liuwa Plain | Wildlife Documentary ‘The Last Lion of Liuwa’ is the emotive story of an African wilderness and the last refuge for a solitary Lioness. The Liuwa plain is a spectacular and remote African plain and the source of the mighty Zambezi River. Rich golden grasslands dominate this dramatic landscape; but every year violent storms hit the Liuwa and the Zambezi bursts it’s banks, dramatically transforming this savannah into a vast lake shallow lake. Liuwa’s wildlife is just as dynamic, some leave, others arrive and for those that stay, they have had to adapt to a changing landscape and compete fiercely for territory and food. Our story is told through the eyes of a permanent predator of the Liuwa plain, the last remaining lioness of Liuwa. She is the sole survivor of a senseless massacre that took the rest of her pride. She is a symbol of the Liuwa, a place that challenges all who live here and where adaptation is crucial to survival. Her story is true and she remains the only lion of this very special place. Free Documentary – Nature – November 20, 2020
The most famous resident of the Liuwa plains in Zimbabwe 🇿🇼 was a female resident called Lady Liuwa, a lioness, who is the subject of this documentary. The narration is told from her perspective, as if she were speaking, the Lady Liuwa. And warning: This is a tear jerker. You are going to be in floods of tears. Lady Liuwa was the only remaining lion in the area, following years of poaching and trophy hunting, before the non-profit NGO African Parks took over, assumed management and introduced additional lions to encourage the re-establishment of a pride. Animal populations have since stabilized, despite declines and local extinctions during the 1990s–2000s. The Lady Liuwa did bond with some lions they relocated but she wasn’t able to have cubs as it turned out she was infertile. But I’m glad she got a partner, new friends. Although nothing could replace her own family. She died of natural causes in 2017. As of July 2020, 13 lions are alive and well in Liuwa.

ALBANIA - undiscovered beauty in Europe
Before we started our trip everyone asked us 'why do you go to Albania?' After returning home it's our mission to explain why! In our opinion this country is still undiscovered by tourists and one of the last spots in Europe where you can experience an original life with a very warm welcome! We traveled through Albania in October and still had 28°C and sunshine for ten days  Wagner Production – November 2019

by Dario De Santis
Mysterious but friendly, ancient but scarred, shut off from the world for almost 50 years — the tiny country on the Adriatic Coast is basking in freedom and beckoning travellers in.

9 Things You Should Consider While Traveling Right Now
As we look ahead to post-pandemic travel, industry experts share their tips for becoming a more conscious traveler.
For years, travel websites and magazines have doled out advice on how to be a responsible traveler. Experts have encouraged travelers to buy and eat locally, embrace a destination’s culture, respect nature, and take time to understand a country’s traditions. Recently, many environmentally-conscious practices have also made it to these lists, explaining the harmful effects of over-tourism, the need for clean sunscreen, and how to avoid unethical animal experiences.
As people look ahead to traveling in a post-pandemic world, we are redefining what it means to travel better in 2021 by sharing a list of ways to travel consciously after the devastation caused by COVID-19. If we are to build back better, there needs to be more emphasis on immersive, sustainable holidays that evoke empathy for the planet and all its beings. Apesksha Bhateja – June 22, 2021

When international travel resumes, Canada's borders and airports will be very different
Just as the 9/11 attacks did 20 years ago, the COVID-19 pandemic will transform the way people travel internationally — with hundreds of millions of dollars in new government spending planned for modernizing border security and updating public health measures at airports.
Airports are at capacity with just 5 per cent of pre-COVID traffic because of pandemic measures…
