"Velkomio" Iceland - A country of Sharp Contrasts
Journeys with Heart organized another fantastic trip to Iceland in June 2016. Chef John Bishop hosted this 11 day adventure journeying to the land of fire and ice. Where dark winters are offset by the summer's midnight sun. A country where insular existence has spurred a rich vibrant culture. The group spotted Puffins on Akurey Island, marveled at the dozens of waterfalls and glaciers, and swam in the Blue Lagoon. They soon got used to the bright midnight skies and had the trip of a lifetime.

TESTIMONIALS from those who enjoyed the trip to Iceland
John and Theresa, you are wonderful hosts and the culinary dishes were remarkable. Who will ever forget Icelandic shark washed down with schnapps? And, John, Duncan Hughes was right when he said of you “What you see is what you get.” Just the best. Thanks.
I hope we will meet again and travel to another exciting country in the future. It seems like Japan is in the planning. - LH
We tell everyone that they must see Iceland and be as fortunate as we to have had such a good guide, program, food, and general experience as we did.
We hope we might be part of such a group again. - ML
